The four axle Eans series type 424W freight car with hinged end walls is used for transportation of bulk goods (coal, sand, ore, aggregates). The car can be discharged by side tipplers or frontal ramps. The car has a modern and durable design (with a heavy-duty cantrail).
The car has a type certificate of operation issued by the General Railways Inspector (currently, the Office for Railway Transport).
