The four axle Eaos series type 428Wa freight car is used for transportation of bulk goods (coal, sand, ore, aggregates) and piece cargo. The car can be discharged by side tipplers. The body design is UIC 571-2 compliant, the brake system is UIC-compliant.
The car has a type certificate of operation issued by the General Railways Inspector (currently, the Office for Railway Transport).
